Microsoft has officially rolled out its new Copilot+ PCs worldwide today, marking a major step in AI-integrated computing. These next-gen Windows laptops come equipped with powerful NPUs (Neural Processing Units) designed to run AI features directly on the device. Key tools include Recall, Cocreator, and Live Captions—all aimed at enhancing productivity without relying on cloud processing.
CEO Satya Nadella said this launch is “a new era of personal computing.” Tech experts believe the move puts Microsoft ahead in the AI PC race, directly challenging Apple’s M-series chips and Google’s Chromebook Plus line. Retail sales and pre-orders have already begun across the U.S., U.K., India, and select global markets.
